Verify before installing
Read the complete HDToday hostname and confirm expected navigation. A browser install uses the current site. An executable, extension, configuration profile, or APK offered by a pop-up is a different product.
Android installation
- Open the verified site in a current browser.
- Choose Install App or Add to Home Screen.
- Review the displayed name and host.
- Confirm the icon.
- Launch and check navigation.
iPhone and iPad
Open HDToday in Safari, choose Share, select Add to Home Screen, and verify the address before adding. iOS does not use Android APK files.
Desktop
Look for the browser’s Install, Create Shortcut, or Add to Dock control. A bookmark remains enough when installation is unavailable. The catalog requires no unknown codec or player.
My List behavior
Saves stay with browser site storage, may not synchronize, and can be erased by clearing data. Installation does not create media ownership, download files, reserve provider access, or import playback history.
Updates, permissions, and removal
The web app updates with the site. It should not need contacts, SMS, administration, microphone, or accessibility control for ordinary discovery. Remove the launcher through normal device or browser app settings.
